Downeast Aerial Photography started out of an interest in aviation and a chance opportunity for a tuition free FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. A hobby of photography and this new skill set made Downeast Aerial Photography a possibility.

Downeast Aerial Photography is based in midcoast Maine, however, we are able to go far beyond the local reach. We can go down the coast or into the interior of Maine. The sky is the limit.
Billy, the Remote Pilot, is a firefighter paramedic by trade and looks forward to working with you and completing your vision!
We take safety seriously and as such recommend only using a licensed commercial drone pilot for your aerial photography. While most people can safely operate a recreational drone, you wouldn't want your business jeopardized by an accident or damaged property. We carry insurance and abide by all FAA regulations. In addition Billy is a volunteer DronePro member of the FAA Safety Team.
